the Davis three....Cops n Robbers

I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with the busy busy Davis family and boy do we have stories to tell! our first location failed on us due to weather (daffodil gardens) so we decided to do an urban setting... we were joined by a landscape photographer, Richard Lee, who kindly tagged along to learn 'people shooting' at the last minute. We learned that trains really do run on the tracks never traveled.... we got some fun shots of the kids watching the train and when the tracks cleared, we were lucky enough to watch *cue song: bad boys-bad boys! watcha gonna
do?* a real-life cops and robbers chase...well we think he was a robber, who knows what the fella did...all we knew was we were on his side of the tracks so-to-speak - and preferred not to be! Folks, maybe this isn't the best place to bring your babies for the sake of pictures after all? So when the guns came out - we packed up (I think Richard was exhausted and relieved - ha!) and we headed to a more tranquil location to finish up where when it was over, I was sandwich-attacked by the Davis three for a grand finale! Cathy, thanks so much for letting me spend the afternoon with your family and I humbly apologize for the OJ scenario! I hope you enjoy your previews! PS: Are my shoes on the right feet? JK! :P

ya know I gotta say it: "more bars in more places!" *grin* they are waiting for a train in the distance here :)

Marla K's Family

Marla K is from Rusk and found me through a mutual friend and client and called me to spend the afternoon with her family at the Mize Azalea Garden in Nacogdoches...what a beautiful garden and beautiful family! it was a blustery, cloudy, rainy day but we were determined to make it happen! after running around the 'enchanted' garden we played some dress-up and splashed in puddles until it was time to go! Thanks for letting me spend the afternoon with your family Marla! It was nice to finally meet you and I hope you enjoy your previews and sharing your images!

Class of 2009: Tyler P.

Guts, hard work, and determination = Gold, Silver, and Bronze: Tyler is quite an accomplished gymnast and I was certainly impressed with his skills :) We met up on another day just to get this shot (below) at sunset :) As well as some shots through his medals which could not be done during the first set due to the wind. Our original shoot date was absolutely the coldest and most windy session I've ever had but he was totally cool throughout the entire set, although we both lost our patience at times with the 35 mph 45 degree wind gusts, but who wouldn't? :P Tyler is set to graduate from Grace this year. Good luck to you Tyler and thanks so much for letting me spend the windy afternoon with you! I have to say, I have a lot of admiration for your accomplishments in your young life - with determination and guts like yours - you will definitely go far! oh - and don't look at the dog! LOL!

I promise the wait is almost over Tyler :) Thanks so much for your patience!

The New Face of UTHC Tyler

Think HOSPITAL... now think ZEN... That's what Brandy Jones and her interior design team at Studio B Designs did and UTHC has it's new look and it's just the beginning! UTHC's face lift is more like a 'soul' lift on the inside featuring a new outpatient surgery wing and waiting area and hallways that will make you think 'spa' instead of cold overwaxed floors and dull colors that scream 'sterilize me!'
These colors whipser to you in relaxing blue tones and textures of earth and shades of sky with a touch of sunshine. So while you may be there for reasons not comfortable, be ready for the new style to actually help you stay calm and more relaxed in what sometimes can be one of the most stressful environments for all of us.
The new out patient surgery waiting room for families makes you feel as if you are waiting in a spa. Brandy's choice of black and white gallery wraps featuring tranquil scenes in nature are just as soothing as they are modern!

out patient surgery center - think chocolate ! it's like a big hug for your boo-boo's

Studio B designed 4 ft wall sconces cut like sculptures from granite and pieced together and framed to light your way throught the halls

Tammy + Brandon = L O V E {on a Harley}

Tammy and Brandon emailed me one day when I had just decided to quit doing weddings and saved me from quitting something I truly love :) She gave me a bunch of super-nice compliments and admired my hard work out loud and told me her awesome venue, so... with my head begining to swell a little, I licked my wounds and accepted. Now, only one month away, we've squeezed in the Esession on a Harley! What a blast! I love to be unique and really customize so the Harley was for him, the romantic sunset for her by request. It was a fun day getting to know each other and I can hardly wait for the wedding! I really get inspired by each couple as I learn about them during sessions. Just look at that Rock below! Love Rocks!!! Yeah! Ya'll thanks so much for spending the afternoon with me and my silly ideas! I had so much fun! Tammy, I know your day will be all you've ever hoped it would be! Congratulations to you both! I will see you very soon!

oooooo sexay! xxox

The combination of above two is a fave of mine :) the kick (I've learned) is signature Tammy!
