I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with the busy busy Davis family and boy do we have stories to tell! our first location failed on us due to weather (daffodil gardens) so we decided to do an urban setting... we were joined by a landscape photographer, Richard Lee, who kindly tagged along to learn 'people shooting' at the last minute. We learned that trains really do run on the tracks never traveled.... we got some fun shots of the kids watching the train and when the tracks cleared, we were lucky enough to watch *cue song: bad boys-bad boys! watcha gonnado?* a real-life cops and robbers chase...well we think he was a robber, who knows what the fella did...all we knew was we were on his side of the tracks so-to-speak - and preferred not to be! Folks, maybe this isn't the best place to bring your babies for the sake of pictures after all? So when the guns came out - we packed up (I think Richard was exhausted and relieved - ha!) and we headed to a more tranquil location to finish up where when it was over, I was sandwich-attacked by the Davis three for a grand finale! Cathy, thanks so much for letting me spend the afternoon with your family and I humbly apologize for the OJ scenario! I hope you enjoy your previews! PS: Are my shoes on the right feet? JK! :P

Guts, hard work, and determination = Gold, Silver, and Bronze: Tyler is quite an accomplished gymnast and I was certainly impressed with his skills :) We met up on another day just to get this shot (below) at sunset :) As well as some shots through his medals which could not be done during the first set due to the wind. Our original shoot date was absolutely the coldest and most windy session I've ever had but he was totally cool throughout the entire set, although we both lost our patience at times with the 35 mph 45 degree wind gusts, but who wouldn't? :P Tyler is set to graduate from Grace this year. Good luck to you Tyler and thanks so much for letting me spend the windy afternoon with you! I have to say, I have a lot of admiration for your accomplishments in your young life - with determination and guts like yours - you will definitely go far! oh - and don't look at the dog! LOL!
