Jake is 1!

Meet Jake who has just turned ONE! this is our second shoot together and the last time I got to meet him....he was only a month old and peed all over me! Thank goodness that didn't happen this time :)

We had fun outside in the leaves playing with mom and dad and Cotton their dog! The light was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better day to shoot...

Both of these family pics are personal faves, especially the BW. I love how everyone, including the dog were looking my way...it was hard to capture Jake without a leaf or twig in his little mouth! But in this one, even while munching leaves, he has a silly grin

Please keep Jake's daddy and family in your prayers, as he has just joined the military and has already left for bootcamp just this week. Let's hope for a safe return for more playing and pictures in the future... Rachel, thanks so much for inviting me out to spend the afternoon with your family :) Jake will be so glad to know that you had this session with his dad becoming a soldier and being away so much.
